Our Founding
AlertMD got its start in 2008 by providing data analytics and predictive modeling to help hospitals understand leading indicators of adverse events. This data assisted health systems in taking corrective action earlier for life-threatening conditions.
App Introduced
We then introduced a predictive model in 2010 to help reduce Deep Vein Thrombosis occurrences at a major hospital in Downers Grove, IL. In that same year, we dove into a new category and launched an automated after-hours answering service solution, AlertMD℠. This solution is now in use by thousands of providers.

In 2011 we continued to expand our horizons by bringing to market a new manual charge capture solution, ChargeMD℠. This led us to launch our first app in Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store in 2012.
Platform Introduced
Keeping the innovation ball rolling, 2014 saw us welcome the AlertMD platform. A cohesive solution for charge capture (Formerly ChargeMD℠), secure messaging and after-hours answering service. This also enabled us to enter the full risk, care coordination and consulting business in 2015. By early 2016 we had 10,000 users and hundreds of locations in the nation using our platform.

In 2017, we introduced a back office solution, Cassidi℠. Cassidi is an intelligent agent who looks at clinical documentation and presents actionable information to providers and coders alike. Cassidi aims to automate billing for providers so they can spend less time with documentation and more time with patients.

In 2019, we ventured into new territory and developed a front-office solution for practices called Margie℠. Margie is your digital front door, and she aims to make it easier for patients to communicate with your practice and vice versa.
Present Day
AlertMD is now 30,000+ users strong, has submitted over 175 app versions and has proven solutions for the front office, care coordination and the back office all in one powerful platform. As we continue to bring new and innovating solutions to market, our focus remains the same; AlertMD aims to increase health system profitability through an easy-to-use mobile platform.
